Lunar New Year is a celebration and holiday going by the moon cycle. It’s celebrated across East/Southeast Asia in different ways with variations of tradition, food, music and more. In Indonesia the Lunar New Year is called ‘Imlek’ and it is common to visit the temple.  

In the chinese-indonesian area Glodok, Jakarta the tempel is crowded and colourful during these times.
